soooooo...we have a private shootshop scheduled for this wednesday (the 3rd) and we need an awesome couple that is madly in love to model for us! if you've been waiting for the chance to strut your stuff, here it is! we would need you at our studio in oceanside from 1:00ish-4:00ish on wednesday the 3rd. we'll waive our standard $500 session fee for the shoot and present your images to you online when they're all finished! interested? it's been a while since jasper made an appearance on the blog. he's just starting to crawl (sort of) and gets soooo excited chasing after water bottles and attempting to keep up with grace. and yes, that is cellulite on a 6 month old ;)

in other news, nate gave him a haircut the other day which made him a little nervous. but my oh my look at those chubby baby boobs ;)

our unbelievably awesome church's band, HOUSE RED rocked the house last night with a live recording for their new EP! the house red crew has such an amazing anointing for worship and i can't wait to hear the new EP when it comes out in october!!! you can check out their blog for two of their new studio tracks which i've been obsessively playing like a teenage fan girl :) i can't believe i could even look through a camera after having to wake up at 4AM in new york and travel all day to make it back for this ;) here's a few of my favorite pics from the night...

we can't believe our little girl is a whopping five years old today!!! we're heading up to disneyland today for a huge dose of birthday wonderfulness :)

jaclyn and i are finally realizing one of our life goals and heading over to new york city this week!!! we've never been to the big apple so we are super stoked to have some time to explore a new city :) we have a wedding in upstate on saturday but will have all day thursday and friday to run around the city...without the kiddos!!! so fellow blog readers, any advice on where to go and what to do in a two day whirlwind tour of the city??? what not to do??? other friendly advice??? * special note * we don't want to see any shows, it's just not our bag baby ;) also, time spent alone with my beautiful wife is a VERY rare commodity so while as much as we would love to, we won't be scheduling any photog get togethers, shoots, or meet ups. we're mostly planning on seeing some sights, shopping like mad, and eating like there is no tomorrow :) sooooo...what to do???

you know the old saying, "the cobbler's children have no shoes" well all too often that applies to us photographer folk as well :( lucky for us we are friends with one of the most talented photographers in the whole wide world, anna kuperberg! a few months ago she came to stay with us for a couple days and knocked our socks off with a bazillion AMAZINGTACULAR pics of the little ol' kaiser family that we will treasure forever! here's some of our favs...i can't wait to get these all over our house!!!
